Ann

Biography
Ann
has had a lifelong love of art and a strong creative instinct.
As a young woman she collected art books, visited museums and
dreamed of the day she would become an artist. However, since
art was no considered a “serious pursuit" as she was
growing up, she received a degree in nursing.

With
frustration and after trying a number of various other careers,
Ann turned to her first love. In 1982, she enrolled in art at
Palm Beach College. She subsequently studied at The Lighthouse
School, Sandhills College, Wayne Art Center, and Chester Springs
Studios, which was affiliated with The Pennsylvania Academy of
Fine Art.
Ann
began her artistic career working in various water based media,
but today she prefers the old masters traditional medium, oil.
Her still life compositions frequently incorporate flowers, leaves
and fruit. Ann says, "There are enough things in this world
that are not beautiful. I don't want to bring anything negative
to this life or our environment. My desire is to share beauty."
